After an amazing start to his career in Israel, Aaron
Schoenfeld moved to Hapoel Tel Aviv after only two weeks in Israel. Two of the biggest clubs in the league,
Hapoel Tel Aviv and Maccabi Tel Aviv, were after Aaron’s signature. Ultimately, we decided that Hapoel Tel Aviv
was the best club for Aaron. In Aaron’s
first game for the club, against bitter rival Maccabi Tel Aviv, Aaron scored
two minutes into the game. Since then,
Aaron has gone one to score a total of four goals in seven starts, earning
attention from the Israeli National Team.
2016 has become an exciting year for Aaron, and it is just beginning.
Congratulations to Eric Miller for his call-up to the US
Men’s National Team! Eric has been
involved at all levels of the US Youth National Teams, however, this was his
first experience with the men’s team.
Eric was also brought into the U23’s team, where he played against
Columbia in qualifications for the 2016 Olympics.
We are thrilled to have agreed new terms for Tim Melia with
Sporting KC. After a tremendous year in
2015, becoming one of the best GKs, Sporting KC decided to reward Tim for his
efforts and keep him at the club for the foreseeable future. Well deserved and great expectations ahead!
Bobby Burling recently concluded an agreement to stay with
Colorado Rapids for another year. After
testing the free agency market, the 10 year veteran decided to stay with his
hometown club. Bobby was involved in
turning around a defense that leaked goals in 2014, and was named ‘Defensive
MVP’ of the Colorado Rapids in 2015.
We are happy to have completed a new contract for Ryan
Hollingshead with FC Dallas. After
becoming one of the premier outside-backs in MLS, FC Dallas decided to extend
an offer that will keep him there for multiple years. FC Dallas has started the season strong and
it is no coincidence that Ryan has played a huge part in that.
We recently concluded a contract with NYCFC for Andre
Rawls. Andre is an exciting young GK
from the Saint Mary’s University. Andre
spent most of the 2015 season with the Wilmington Hammerheads, however, NYCFC
kept tabs on him and ultimately decided to bring him back for the 2016 season.
After a standout collegiate career at UC Santa Barbara, we
concluded an agreement for Ismaila Jome with Minnesota United. Ismaila will be with Minnesota for several
years and transition with the club as they enter MLS in 2017. Minnesota united is expecting big things from
the versatile left-winger and left back!
Bradley Bourgeois recently signed with PRO FC and concluded
a Homegrown deal with the Houston Dynamo.
After playing for the academy during his youth career and a tremendous
collegiate career with Tulsa, Houston Dynamo decided to extend an offer and
keep Bradley in their organization. The
versatile defender, who can play outside back or center back, has high
expectations with his hometown club.
